This is a blog for political expression. I invite cerebral and reasoned comments. Please feel free to express your point of view, but name-calling will not be tolerated and such comments will be deleted. Yeah, it's my blog, so I get to judge what is name calling and what is acceptable discussion. So please be cordial.

Why I Post: Because I Care
Why I post: I have a job that affords me some flexible time, and a portion of that time is spent reading, watching and listening. I'll admit that much of the information I consume comes from conservative sources, but that doesn't mean it's inaccurate. In fact, it's probably more accurate than the news sources upon which many folks are depending. I'll give you some examples. If you get your news from CNN, MSNBC, or one of the other Networks, I'll bet a dollar against your dime that you thought the Zimmerman defense team was using the "Stand Your Ground" statute of Florida law as a defense. WRONG! The Zimmerman trial was a self defense case. I'll also bet my dollar against your dime that if you rely on the the establishment media for your information that you have no clue that the President co-sponsored a "stand your ground" bill when he was a Senator. I'll also bet my dollar to your dime that you don't know squat about the new data on climate change. Global warming stopped more than a decade ago ... Al Gore, et. al. Epic Fail.
So, why do I post? Because I care about my country. I care that so many people arrive at their suppositions the same way they get catch a cold. On a daily basis I get to witness kids who graduate from H.S. with no knowledge of American History... No concept of what the Bill of Rights means, and no appreciation of the sacrifices made to enable the freedom and prosperity which they mindlessly enjoy. I post because I have a son that deserves to live in a United States that is populated with people who appreciate their heritage, who embrace personal responsibility, who revere the rule of Law enumerated by the Constitution, and recognize the dangers of collectivism. So, yes, when I observe the most powerful man on the planet, woefully leading the most powerful nation in all of history down the path of self destruction, I'm going to say something, or write something. True to my principles: you don't have to like it. Simply remove me as friend or stop following. My God-given right is to voice my concerns. Your God-given right is to choose not to listen.

Don't Blame Obama - Blame Low Information Voters
Low information voters are responsible for this entire debacle. Voters who would rather seek comfort than secure their liberties. Voters who would rather follow a despot than embrace the Founder's concept of limited government. Voters who would trust their emotions instead of their intellect. Voters who didn't take the time to listen, learn or grasp the gravity of their vote. Voters who preferred their religious bigotry in lieu of the values that made America great. I never thought I would witness what is happening to my America; the systematic dismantling of the dollar, the criminalization of gun ownership, political intimidation by the IRS, the failure of a Justice Department to administer justice and instead intimidate law abiding citizens ... the list goes on. We're long past blaming Bush for the mess that is the Obama Administration. This President has an agenda, and that agenda is to remove America as the standard bearer of freedom and liberty. So, here's a sarcastic "thank you" to all those low information voters out there. It gives me no solace knowing that they share my fate: A world rendered far more dangerous because America has lost it's exceptional-ism .. right on track with the Obama agenda.
I'm not running for any office, so I don't have to be politically correct. The pictures below may say more than I could ever conjure in words.

So, You Want to Call Me a Racist?
I guess I'm confused. Someone please explain to me how being a racist or a bigot affects the relevant facts of any discussion.
For example:
President Obama is not my dad or my boss. That's a fact.
This President has presided over the worst economy in my lifetime. That's a fact.
This President has demeaned the free market system more than any President since Roosevelt. That's a fact.
This President has misled the American people about taxes, health care and the war on terror. That's a fact.
Hypothetically speaking ...even if I admit to being a racist, how does that invalidate a single one of my points?
The left is infamous for using the term, almost always at the point when their logic or reasoning on a topic has run aground. I see it happen all the time, and it's sickening.
Just stop it already!
